Spirit Guide
The domesticated dog has been part of our lives for thousands of years.
Historians believe it was 14,000 to 29,000 years ago when they entered our lives
and never left. Dogs have many amazing characteristics, so many it is hard to
list them all and the list only gets longer with time. They are our guardians and
protectors, they give us undivided loyalty and devotion. They have boundless
insight and sensitivity to our health and emotional needs and they give us joy
and purpose, they are family. Dogs also teach us the cycle of life and help us
better understand it. Far-fetched as it sounds, in my family a beloved dog
returned from the spirit world and helped a family member crossover. I cannot
picture my life without a dog by my side.
