Mockingbird GalleryThe sun is finally shining as we walk into the gallery every morning, and still bright as we close-up shop at the end of each day. As we adjust to shifting towards summer, we are thrilled to open the month of May with a three person show featuring Charles Cashwell, Jennifer Moses, and John C. Traynor. Each of these remarkable artists brings with them a wealth of experience, unique and enchanting works of art as well as a view into their creative and inspired worlds. “Lasting Impressions” will open May 3rd from 5-8pm and will remain through the month. The colors, forms and entrancing subject matter must be seen in person – we look forward to welcoming you and introducing you to these three remarkable artists. Charles Cashwell's long term passion for impressionism and rich color encouraged his art style to shift from typical, straightforward portraiture to something more free flowing and dreamlike, creating a moment in time that captures spirit and human connection. Jennifer Moses explored photography, ceramics and various aspects of design, but always returned to painting focusing on bright, light contrasting landscapes that are both relatable and ethereal. In the tradition of the Dutch Masters, John C. Traynor, is skilled and has perfected the ability to conquer each genre: landscape, still life and portraiture. John travels extensively, painting en plein air and in location bringing with it a poetic soft rendering of light that is both powerful and peaceful.
